Hi, I’m Lilly the creator of Craft Social, and I’ve been part of the Byron Bay community most of my life. After years of running Bang Bang Balloons, a local party balloon business, I wanted to take my love for all things creative to the next level. I started Craft Social because I saw how much parents, especially my friends, needed new, exciting activities for their kids each school holiday. Our workshops focus on trendy crafts, changing every term, and aim to create a fun, safe, and social space for kids to connect. As a mum of a beautiful daughter, I know the importance of keeping little ones engaged, and I love crafting activities that get kids excited to return.

We saw the perfect opportunity to introduce our DIY craft kits for visitors looking to celebrate in a unique way. With so many people coming to Byron Bay year-round for girls' weekends, hens' parties, and birthdays, we wanted to offer something different to add to the mix of beach trips, restaurants, and cocktails. Our DIY kits are the perfect way to bond with friends at your accommodation, share a platter, and have a good laugh while crafting together!

Craft Social offers something different, while also honouring the incredible options for school holiday care in our Byron Bay community. My goal is for every child (and parent) to leave our workshops feeling connected, inspired, and ready for more crafting adventures!
